Is there over the counter medication for frequent bladder infections.?

Also, I get bladder infections all the time, I'm clean and everything its because I have a tilted urinary tract so no comments on not washing.

I need something that can prevent, or treat so I don't have to go to the dr like every month or so.

Yes the best medicine is Uristat, it works very well with treating bladder infections. It is over the conuter. =]

If you have fully explained the situation to your physician, he/she will surely prescribe something that is more effective than anything you can buy over the counter.

Not sure if they work or not, but they make "cranberry pills" that supposedly have all the benefits of the juice, but none of the sugar.

I have the exact same problem that you do, with the same circumstances. You need to be really careful too, because if you don't take care of yourself, your bladder infections will turn to kidney infections, and that's a whole different ballpark. What I did is went to my doctor, and told her what was happening. Since they were reoccurring, she prescribed me a black and white pill for the infection, and a big white one for the pain. Also, if I feel one about to happen, I can take one of those black and white ones and it never comes!! Also, this is really personal.... but if you are sexually active, be sure to pee right after you do anything, wether it be just little stuff or the real thing. That will help keep your urinary tract sterile enough to take care of itself. Sorry for getting too deep but its vital!!
Good Luck!!!!!

You should not self diagnosed yourself by getting medication over the counter for your frequent bladder infections.

Consult a doctor who will prescribe you with the appropriate medications and dosages to take.

Bladder infections are commonly called UTI'S. Most UTI (Urinary tract infection)cures are by prescription only(i.e. antibiotics) however to prevent UTI's the general consensus of opinion is to drink lots of water and cranberry juice (100% juice.... none of this "made from 10% real concentrate" stuff....) taking a vitamin C supplement will also help.
I have had a couple of UTI's recently..but never gone to the doctors for antibiotics...I just start drinking lots of water and cranberry at the first symptom. Check out the link....

I don't know of any meds, but here is the old fashion way to get your bladder back on track. Stop drinking dark soda, tea, coffee, and start drinking stuff like pedialite, or jucies that dont have alot of acid in it.
