Bladder infections? is this normal? |
diagnosed with bladder infection and on a sulfa antibiotic..... pain in urethra opening and very very little discharge..is this normal? please ppl i know youre not drs but i will like to rest my worrying until i see the dr again in the am!:) A bladder infection causes inflammation of the bladder and urethra. Bladder infection symptoms usually include one or more of the following: remember always wipe front to back not back to front.. when you are sexually active or dint keep yourself clean enough or wipe yourself the right way (front to back) that's when you get bladder infection Yes, those symptoms are very typical of a bladder infection. Drink lots of water and it will help alleviate the discomfort. Bladder infections are very common. And I'm sorry to have to say this, but now that you've had one, you're more likely than others to get more in the future. What you are feeling and seeing is a normal part of a UTI. Finish your med completely (Primsol [trimethoprim] right?) and drink 2-3 liters of water/day now and hereafter. You will be fine. Now that you know what it is, if it ever happens again you'll know it for what it is. |
