Can bladder infections cause blackouts???

apparently scnas show i have a bladder infection and its caused me to b loosin a lot of blood over the last 4 days and its concerning me as i have real bad pains in my back and i blackout at least 4-5 times a day do you think this is right??

help appreciated as not seeing doctor til thurs and i cant keep on like this
thanks

When I had a bladder infection, I put off seeing my doctor for so long that it spread to my kidney, This caused a great deal of pain in my lower back, I also developed a stone which on it's way from the kidney to the bladder scrapped the lining of the tube(can't remember the name of it) leading to the bladder, this caused me to pass a lot of blood. I did pass out once due to the severe pain, which people say is worse than the pain of childbirth.
Perhaps yours has spread to your kidney? Drink as much water as you can take as this will help, when the pain is bad. lie down and raise your legs, for some reason this eases it.
Hope you get on alright.

This is more serious then a bladder infection. You should not be "loosing" blood because of a bladder infection nor should you be blacking out. Go to the ER.

ffs ring up the doctor and say its an emergency or go to the hospital NOW

i get bladder infections all the time and yes blood can come in your pee not a lot but some but i've never blacked out you need to go to hospital and find out whats really wrong.

I would go to the hospital that don't sound right for a bladder infection. Some is going on and it could be life threating i would go to the hospital now. be safe then sorry. The loss of blood is the cause of the black outs. but you shouldn't be loosing blood from a bladder infection that don't sound right. So go to the E.R. don't wait for the next black out.

Bladder infection does not normally cause blood loss so a bit confused with this one. People can blackout from blood loss and from pain. I think you need to go and get checked out as an emergency, If all else fails you could go to a & e for immediate attention..well immediate except for the 4 hour ..waits ..lol. Seriouly I hope you feel better soon..
