What happens if i pee blood and they say i don't have bladder infections?

well i went to a doctor because i was peeing blood , checked me and said it was not a bladder infection . and told me to go back two weeks and if i still pee blood they will see whats wrong with me . what do you think

Dear Anna D,

If there is blood in your urine, it could be many different things. The most likely thing would be Kidney Stones. Read the following things, you may understand better.

Blood in the urine can come from any condition that results in infection, inflammation, or injury to the urinary system.

Typically, microscopic hematuria (Blood in the Urine) indicates damage to the upper urinary tract (kidneys), while visible blood indicates damage to the lower tract (ureters, bladder, or urethra). But this is not always the case.
The most common causes in people younger than 40 years of age are kidney stones or urinary tract infections.

I hope this will help you understand more clearly and good luck, don't take it lightly, make sure you stay on top of things with your doctor. Good Luck

I think I'd find another doctor.

I have blood in my urine as well, and always have. It runs in my family. It doesn't cause anything that we know of, but it could be linked to kidney problems mostly on the male side of the family.

I think you'll be just fine.

I think you need to go ba k at the determined time and find out what the problem is. Nobody on here can tell you.

urinating blood is not normal and if its not a bladder infection (which I'm sure you would be in alot of pain) then you should see a urologist for further testing....small traces could be normal but not "Frank" blood.....look into it

your guess is as good as mine. sorry i cant put your mind at ease. at a guess i would say kidney infection. hope it not serious. good luck.

Get another opinion.

Blood in urine is ALWAYS abnormal and should be investigated further IMMEDIATELY! It can be caused by infection, stones in urinary tract ect. Painless blood in urine can have many causes including cancer.
Please see another doctor immediately!

If you have pain or a fever you should go back to your doctors to-morrow and ask him/her to do a urine test.

Maybe you have a kidney infection.
