Is it possible for 2 women in the same household to have bladder and yeast infections around the same time? |
My grown daugther had a bladder infection and then a yeast infection and a week later I ended up with the same thing!!! How is this possible??? Yeast and Urinary Tract infections are NOT contagious as far as I have read, however, we all (men and women) have yeast naturally throughout our whole body. A yeast infection is just when bacteria and whatnot get out of balance and cause the yeast to grow rapidly. Though, you didn't catch your yeast infection from your daughter, you could have caught what she had that gave her the yeast infection. As could be the case for the bladder infection.
