What is the most seriously thing about bladder infections?

my mom thinks she has a bladder infection and i have no idea anything about them.

If she feels like she has to go constantly, then tries to and only produces a few drops with excruciating burning, chances are that's what she has. She should see a doctor but meanwhile load her up with cranberry juice. They sell meds over the counter to help with the burning nowadays, too, but that won't kill the infection.

Good luck to her!

it hurts to pee

I get them on occasion and the juice doesn't work as well as the pills... cranberry pills. Take two in the morning and two at night for a few days. I sit in a warm bath to ease the pain. mine have always gone away without treatment with these pills. Try it. It can be serious but only if left untreated or allowed to get worse! You're a good kid to get answers for your mom!

It hurts to go to the bathroom and you have to go alot, sometimes their nothing comming out. I would go to your doctor ASAP, they will give her antibiotics to fight the infection. She can also drink as much water and/or crainberry juice as possible.. Also at the drugstore their is something called "AZO" this helps with the pain(it turn your pee orange!)
Just tell her to go to the doctorASAP and he will clear it up.
Wish her luck!!!!

Bladder infections can lead to kidney infections, which can lead to death. She must go to a doctor for diagnosis and treatment. Cranberry pills/juice are good for prevention, but once you have an infection you need antibiotics. Also, the worst thing she can do is get into a warm bath; bacteria thrives in warm, moist environments. After she gets some medication from the doc, she can get the AZO treatment at a drug store; it doesn't treat the infection, but it can make the symptoms lessen until the antibiotic starts working and the infection clears up.
