My dayghter is 3 yrs. old and has 3 bladder/kidney infections within 4 months. Why?? |
my daughter is 3 and is fighting her 3rd bladder/ kidney infection in the past 4 months. What causes her to have them so frequently?? what can i do to prevent them? Like other people said, make sure she is wiping (or is wiped) from front to back. Cranberry juice can be helpful to prevent further infections, but will not clear up one that has already started. Try using some bleach along with your regular detergent when you wash her underwear (I had problems when I was little and my mom said that's what fixed it). Has her doctor tested her blood sugar levels? If she urinates a lot and gets frequent infections, her doctor should be checking that to rule out diabetes. Is she potty trained yet? If so, is she wiping front to back? Is she drinking enough water everyday? Have you consulted a urologist? Need more information to give you a coherent answer. may be the way she is wipping herself, bacteria may be moving into her vaginal area, Always wipe front to back...If thats not the case docs can do cath scans and other tests to see if she has a blockage or bladder relux problems...GL Only her doctor can give you that answer, however some things to consider are your laundry soap or bleach when washing her underwear (bleach may be too strong for her), too many sugary foods, does she take a lot of bubble baths? (big no-no for little ones). Follow up with her pediatrician b/c there are other things with the kidney/bladder that can lead to infections. Push lots of water for her to drink. Good luck! Are you/she cleaning herself right, sometimes little girls get frequent uti/bladder infections because they don't clean the right way. Or she might have something else going wrong, she might need to go to a children's urologist. Give her a cup of cranberry juice to drink every day... have a doctor check for underlying conditions if they haven鈥檛 already! I am not a doctor but I have written a few books that pertain to the medical field. THe books contain information from groups of doctors. Often times what I have found through my research and in talking with these individuals is that many ailments are caused by subluxations in the spinal column. A subluxation is the abnormal alignment of the vertebrae. A child of three wil have many falls and bumps as they are learning to use their body. So I would not be surprised if your baby had a subluxation. My nephew had a similar situation happen to him as well. I eneded up taking him to my Chiropractor. Chiropractors are the only medical doctors trained to deal with subluxation. Yes chiorpractic is safe for children. I would suggest you find a good chiropractor in your area who specializes in treating children. And by the way, a chiropracotr does so much more than just help with neck and back pain. AS I have said I have researched this extensively for the past 5 years. I would bet that after a few adjustments your daughter will be feeling much better. I*'m surprised that her doctor hasn't told you more about her condition. A few things could cause the infections: Have you already gone through the full kidney and colon cleansing processes? |
