All My Life I have struggled with Bladder infections(surgery also)?

I have had to many to even begin to count in my almost 36 years of life. And Kidneys were Barely working also.So Infections I can handle. But This morning as I doing my morning time ritual.I noticed that I have more than a UTI. I have lil white things that are as white as snow and quite a large size(floating around)My back is kiling me.But My doc appointment is 2 more days away. What are the specks? My lower abodomen is in alot of pain also.To be sure my eyes wasnt betraying me,I grabbed a plastic cup and sure enough,White things. Some flake like, some just pieces. This is teh worst pain Out of all my years I been in with a UTI or kidney infection.I am drinking plenty of water,No colas, and taking cranberry Pills.HELP I am hurting!Any suggestions?

TY for all The advice, and NOO its not worms! OMG what in the world. What ever this is is hard and as I said looks liek flakes and some pieces. And I never once thought It was worms.OMG do U just answer questions to rack up points? I called My doctor at home a few minutes ago,and she is going to see me tomorow instead of Friday. She suggested that I actualy take a pair of tweezers and get a piece out.Its like a crunchy white thing. She said that is sounded like stones(TY for teh few who knows about that)She said she wants to run a scan and see if they are visable and If they will pass on their own.She said drink at least 3-4 quarts of water a day.And tomorow I will get something for my urinary and kidney infection.TY for teh suggestion. And I never once thought of carrot juice but I will now.My doc did ask if there was bleeding.I said no and she said something about If its stones, sometimes they can spur.(?)Yall are really smart. She asked on a 1-10 scale on pain and I told her 12.TY again.

If you do not want to go to the emergency room now, you can go get some of those AZO pills that will numb your bladder, but it sounds like you may have a kidney infection, so that may not provide full relief.

Take some ibuprofen to help with the pain in your back and abdomen.
Also, cranberry pills are better than taking nothing, but the best thing to do is drink cranberry juice. You need straight 100% cranberry juice there are usually no bottled or frozen juices readily available on the gorcery shelves that contain enough cranberry juice to help with preventing or curing a UTI. Most of them only contain 30% juice at the most and even that 30% is still a blend with grape juice. You might have to go to a health food store or a grocer that has a health food isle would carry it there.

Another thing you may not know is that carrot juice is also a great thing to drink for UTI's, it acts similar to cranberry juice, but some people find it more pleasant to drink. http://www.odwalla.com/product1.asp?p=be...

I have had the problem you are describing right now and i bought two jars of that cranberry juice i gave you a link to. I drank 8 oz every 4 hours until both bottles were gone along with drinking lots of water. This was before i found out about carrot juice. I was feeling better in 2 days and checked w/ dr. to be sure, it was all clear.

If you drink 4 oz a day of that juice and or carrot juice, it should prevent future UTI's.
I have found that the pills are not enough for me, I need the juice.
The taste of the juice is really strong and it has no sugar, you can mix it with apple juice or plug your nose and just gulp as fast as you can. :) My friend actually uses anbesol on her tongue before she drinks hers so she wont taste it.

okay when the water is running but ur crouch up and put it there while the water is running this helps to clean the white stuff and yeah it probably worms..but you can try.

good..luck..

I am a frequent flier of the UTI club myself. I used to get them monthly when I was pregnant with my sons (and had a few more too starting when I was in grade school).

This sounds like the kind of thing you don't wait to be seen for. This sounds like something you should go to the ER for NOW!

Please at least call the hospital (or your doc's office) and see if they have a consulting nurse service. The nurse there can help you determine if you need to be seen right away or if you can wait the two weeks until your appointment.

Good luck, Hon.

I know your pain.

Peace find us both,

You need to call your GP urgently or an ambulance. It sounds like you have stones in your kidneys. I had kidney stones quite some time back, and it was excruciating. Worse than having a baby. You need some serious pain relief to start with, and the doctor will advise you of the rest of it. Mine went on for three weeks or more until the stones were finally passed, but sometimes they get too big and jagged to go through. If that is the case the hospital can disperse them by breaking them up.

I do hope you feel better soon.
