What is an infection control flag on your medical records and how do you decipher the codes? |
I've noticed on my medical records it says Infection Control Flag: 1;5m. What does this mean? You'll need to ask your doctors office. Different offices/areas use different codes. Do you have a compromised immune system from leukemia or HIV? Are you a carrier of some disease even if it is not active, like TB? Ask yourself what is it in your medical history that this could refer too and then talk with the doctor about the codes. |
