Why is it that animals have better medical treatment with better infection control than humans? When one animal in a herd is sick, the farmer rounds them all up for isolation, shots and other treatments. Rumor has it that it is genetic make up.... more testing, less drug strigency (who knows what side effects occur or would if they lived 80 years), and ability to control disease is easier - if an animal is sick enough, it just dies or is put to sleep. Animals can create their own Vit C. Better immune systems. (except guinea pigs, of course) |
