I get yeast infection quiet often. How can I control it? |
Are there any home remedies or types of food other than yogurt that I can have to control it? Lower your intake of sugars and complex carbohydrates. If this doesn't help, see your doctor. First you should consult a doctor, that is what they are there for, but I will say that one of my ex's got them frequently and would take baths with a cup or two of vinegar as a home remedy. cranberry juice-drink alot of it Frequent yeast infections can indicate diabetes or less likely HIV. If you have been checked out for these things you may want to have any sex partner you might have treated with Diflucan just in case they are giving it back to you. Also, you can try drinking acidophilus milk, it has active cultures like yogurt to help replace the normal flora (bacteria) in the body. These normal flora consume the fungus (yeast) before they start an infection. I have also seen pro-biotic supplements at the drug store, but I don't know if they really work. Good luck. |
