Does taking birth control give you yeast infection?

I'm with my boyfriend for 5 months now, never had a problem. i started taking birth control 3 months and since then, i got infections twice already. could it be the birth control?

birth control pills can most definetly give you yeast infections. i've been with my boyfriend for 6 months. i began taking Yaz bcp 5 months ago, and have had recurrent yeast infections ever since!

No. The pill does not cause yeast infections.

It is from other causes.

i think it can...i was on one birth control and immediately got a yeast infection and then switched birth control about 4 months later for another reason and got another yeast infection, these are the only two times i've had them
