Is it ok if i take birth control pill if i have a kidney infection?

Is it ok if i take birth control pill if i have a kidney infection?

If you're on antibiotics for your Kidney Infection then they can make your birth control less effective. So if you are on active then make sure you use another form of birth control.

Other than that you should be able to take your pill normally without any problems.

Always good to check with your Dr. though.

NO NO NO THATS REAL BAD FOR YOU BECAUSE YOUR KIDDNEES ARE THE ONES THAT DESPOSE THE PILL TAKE CARE OF YOUR SELF AND ASK A DOCTOR.

MaryJane the liver processes the BC pill. It will be fine but you need to drink lots of water. Antibiotics mess up the BC pill and you will need to use some other method if you are taking an antibiotic.
Merry Christmas

Yes it's fine to take it. But make sure your drinking lots of water!!

Um of course...just becareful because antibiotics make them less effective.

you can take, but it will make the bc pill ineffective - either abstain from sex while on the antibiotic, or use other methods of bc
