I'm scared I may have an infection but cannot take anti biotics when I'm on birth control?

I'm on bc, so I cant take anti biotics

It hurts when I have sex and I've ruled out pregnancy and std's... could It be a vaginal infection?
what can I take to make this better besides anti-biotics

I'm going to make a doc. appointment tommarow but dont know how long it will take for her to be able to see me

A bacterial infection could kill you. A baby won't.

You can always continue to take the pill as scheduled and abstain or use condoms.

You didn't list what your symptoms are so I can't guess what it could be. Only your doctor can tell you for sure. Make sure to ask her what to do since you are on the pill.

i didn't no u couldn't take atibiotics while on birth control i would stop the birth control and take the antiboitics

You can take antibiotics on Birth control but you just need to use a back up method while taking antibiotics. YOu may not have an infection causing your pain. Call your regular doc and get seen for this. If it will be more than a couple days ask them for an emergency appointment. You do not need to see a special doc for this as your regular doc can handle these kind of things.

First of all, you CAN take antibiotics while taking birth control. You just can't have unprotected sex because it cancels out the bc while you're taking it. Meaning, use a backup form of bc. Condoms, spermicides. All things you should be using anyway. BC is only so effective and there is always that slim chance of becoming pregnant regardless.

Pain can be from various things, and making an appointment with your doctor is best. My suggestion is to think about maybe using a lube, if you're not so wet it can be very painful. May be also related to how well endowed your partner is.
