All spillages must be dealt with as soon as they occurCordon off area of spillage with wet floor signs if possibleIf liquid, blot up excess with paper roll (making sure rubber gloves are worn) or, ifhard floor, mop and bucket. If spillage is solid, e.g. food, fasces or vomit, remove excess, using paper roll or scraper (make sure rubber gloves are worn).Using the disposable cloth and bucket, on a soft floor gradually work the detergent solution into the fabric on the outer edge of the stain flfst, then progressing towards the centre of the stain.
