same as my pin worm answer except treat animals as well. You actually need to take hiugher dose of human worming tablets to treat hookworm. Treat animals now and then again in 6 weeks time.

The doctor who diagnosed you should give you parasite-killing medications such as mebendazole or albendazole. Those are the 2 medications indicated for hookworms.

These parasites enter the human body through the feet or through fingers and palm. So avoid barefoot walking outside and also to wash hands properly if you happen to touch the ground or animals pet or otherwise.
