Could my birth control cause weird discharge? |
it's not an STD because I've been checked and its not a yeast infection either. Could my birth control be causing me to have a yellowish light green discharge? I don't know what it could be from but it seems that on random days it will be clear, then one day it will be nothing, then one days its alot and thick, then the next day it will be a light greenish? What could be the cause of this? i am on the nuvaring...(birthcontrol) and i have more or less the same problem...except mine is never green...more like yellowish. but i have days that i have alot of thick discharge some with nothing..others clear and others with a lil yellow tint to it. i asked my doctor and he said that yes it can happen with the birthcontrol i am using and that its perfectly norma. not sure what birthcontol u are using but with the nuvaring i get that ... It could be normal discharge, but it could also be a vaginal infection. Have the doctor check you out, especially if the discharge has a strong odor. You might need an antibiotic. |
