What can we do to reduce the risk of the HIV infection rate in Africa?

how can we control the risk of infection e.g. mother to baby

Perhaps, if condom manufacturers opened condom factories in Africa for distribution in that region of the world, and hired African workers, and most condoms were shipped out of that area for sale, then perhaps from the profits, enough condoms could be distributed within the African continent, and hopefully the new Bill Gates - Warren Buffett BILLION dollar charity foundation could contribute a few dollars. either way .... good luck!

use condoms! there is not much you can do in the mother/baby relation....

nothing

well truth is, u cant rly from other to baby. but until tehy find a cure, education is our best bet

The U.S. could stop tying financial aid to condom use.

The present U.S. government will not give aid to countries who practice birth control.

It hard to answer such a large question, but the key is education. However, if you were dirt poor and starving would you really care about protecting yourself from an STD.

cant do anything~Ive been there and over 70 percent of the country has aids if not more

Why the hell should "WE" do anything more? Isn't 10 billion dollars enough to help educate them?

Educated them more about HIV, encourage them to use condoms, and encourage them to get tested.

The best way is to educate them what is AIDS and HIV. Inform them how the HIV is acquired so that they will be able to make preemptive measures to avoid infection.

STOP ******* the beaches

simple when you are havin' sex, have the guy use a condom.

there is nothing we can do that country needs to stand up on its own to feet and quit leaning on us

Stop having sex! OR use lots of condoms! Its not fair to bring a child in the world knowing they will suffer this disease (use birth control) .I am not trying to sound mean but just sensible.Good Luck.
