Will Monistat affect the Birth Control Pill?

My Girlfriend has a Yeast infection and she is on birth control pills we were wondering if anyone knows if Monistat will throw the pill off or something. Thanks in advance

No, this combination is fine. Monistat works locally on the skin in the vagina, whereas the pill circulates through the blood stream to work, so the two never really meet in concentrations that can affect each other. It's fine.

no it will not effect birth control. GOOD LUCK

no you're good.
if you take something internally that will travel in the blood stream it may have an effect.
i'd call the 1800 number and ask to be sure though.
but you should be fine.
