How to clean up residues of birth control pills in my wife's uterus?

My wife always get infection in her cervix and/ or uterus. The doctor said there are residues of birth control pills that induces the infections. What shall we do?

birth control pills do not leave any residues!!!
it is the intra uterine devices(IUCD) that may leave some infection,of course even these can be tackled by good ANTIBIOTICS!!
