Is indigestion a part of PMS? |
Last month I had a very irregular period, but ever since the week before I have had indigestion. I never had indigestion before and it's really irritating, all the tums in the world don't seem to help it! It went away for about a week and now it should be about the time of the week before my next period is due and I have it really bad again. Could this just be a new symptom of my PMS? ? I get this all the time, my period thing can just be out of wack, it may be a change in your diet, or eating gassy foods No, it's not. it could be, but i would go see your GYN to make sure. when that happened to me it turned out i was pregnant. Is it possible you are pregnant? Many women get heartburn/indigestion when they are prego. Otherwise it may be stress, or if you smoke, that can flare it up as well... No, I don't think so. I mean it wouldn't be abnormal if it were, I get an upset tummy when I'm about to go on my period, but indigestion is a little different. Speak to your doctor and let them know. It could be signs of IBS or something else. Indigestion is not a part of PMS. It is a completely different medical problem. It is possible. I have heard women advising they have indigestion prior to their period. It is not common (from complaints I have heard), but it isn't freakishly abnormal either! :) Yes, indigestion can be linked to PMS. It is also made worse by stress. |
