Bad indigestion?

hi i suffer from relly bad indigestion, and it really hurts, and think im going 2 die which brings on palpitations, my doctor but me on omeprazole which r workin but my chest really sore now does anyone it is coz of the acid

The last time I got a severe chest pain was when I couldn't sustain it anymore. And it was immediately after getting flu and taking a course in antibiotics. Antibiotics really play havoc in my system. On top of that, I has just relocated to another city, another country and was still discovering palatable food. Ended up eating Spicy Thai green curry and later in the late evening had some lousy coffee with sweet snacks loaded with oil.
All this must have caused the super pain which I tried to withstand for 2 hours but I finally told myself only one thing: the antacids are not working, the garlic pearls aren't working, the
only thing for you to do, (which I've never done before) is get dressed, jump into a cab and leave for the emergency section of a private hospital.
I was administered a whole bottle of 'something' liquid through my veins. In 5 minutes the pain was gone.
I brought home pills and a chalky suspension solution and an attitude of 'money well spent'. You can imagine the amount I paid.

any antacids would work. Avoid spicy foods too they aggrovate it more. And keep on with what the doc gave you

It could very well be..Try taking Gaviscon to help ease the indigestion, also keep a tube of the Gaviscon Cool tablets in your pocket or handbag, for when you start to feel that burning sensation. You can take upto 4 at a time, and they really do work.

It's called acid reflux, where the acid builds up in your esophagus during heartburn. The acid eats away at the lining, causing ulcers and sores.

Have you checked the advise sheet given at the drugstore for side effects of this drug. Or maybe call the drug store where you bought it & asked them. Sounds suspicious. Your Dr. may need to change meds.

GAVILAST Tablets work for me.
But so does a change of diet.
And sometimes a 24 hour fast (could be midday to midday so you get some food each day) works too.
Loads of fluid - avoid too much alcohol.
Hope you improve in time for Christmas!!

Try taking some antacid. Also, do not lay down. Try to sit straight up so the acid has a harder time moving upwards. Just think of a water bottle laying on its side.... the water moves to the top, but when you set it down on its bottom, the water stays down. (Gravity). Just try to be calm when this happens. It hurts really bad, but you will be ok. No need for an anxiety attack that causes heart palpitations while having indigestion! Hope you feel better soon!

goto another doctor see what they say

avoid carbohydrates is a good start Also a good tip if you wake up in bed with and you get it bed lie on your back with the upper part of your body raised about 3 inches, trust me, it works.

i suffer from really bad acid reflux, which hurts like hell. I've found that a tablet called Pepcid 2 works really well, and seems to last for most of the day (I'm from the UK, so u would have to find the equivalent if u live elsewhere) u also need to look at your diet. caffeine, alcohol, fizzy drinks and fried foods will irritate your stomach and cause more excess stomach acid than u have already. as for your chest hurting, it could be a side effect of the medication u are on. have u read the leaflet that came with the tablets ? it should list side effects on it. i guess the acid could be causing u to have a sore chest, but i think that it would be mainly painful in your throat and oesophagus. if in doubt, go back to your doctor !

Do a parasite cleanse. I had the same thing a few years back and did a parasite cleanse, I dont get heartburn anymore. Good luck.
