Due to go to hospital appointment, the letter states this appointment will last 2 hours , what sort of test will thy be doing, i have involantary incontinence also stress incontinence, if any body had any of these tests whats it like, thanks in advance. I want senseible answers not dick head reply like yours, do you realy think i enjoy being it this embarassing, condition, no thanks. usually they will ask you a few questions such as frequency, painful etc. They will probably then take a sample for analysis, so if it is due to an infection they can prescribe the right antibiotic. They may perform a urodynamic test which measures bladder function and pressure. also sometimes a pad test which enables them to estimate how much urine u pass in an hour. they may possibly do an x-ray or an ultrasound. they may in some cases perform a cytopsy to view the inside of your bladder. hope this is of some help x x Might want to try to get non-invasive treatment before going through all that testing. If you have never heard of pelvic floor muscle rehab, look into doing that first. You might eliminate your problem doing this for 6-8wks. sorry but excersises are the best and only real way to cure it htere are some drugs but the main way is pelvic floor or kegal excersises - the effects will start with in a week or so ...Do a search for commerical incontinence pads and see what pops up then have the company reps from several companies come in an demonstrate their product and give you the costs etc. I don't kn...
