Help with urine incontinence and diarrhea before period? |
I hope someone can help me. I started having urine incontinence and diarrea about 2 weeks before my period started. I'm not talking about a little leakage. It was a flood. I would feel my bladder cramp and before I could get up and run to t he bathroom I had already wet myself. I also experience diarrhea also before my period. Is this normal? The diarrhea could be due to the change in hormones and is not that uncommon. The incontinence should be checked out by your doctor. Sometimes bladders do act up during this time as well, as if the menstruation irritates it. Could you have a urinary tract infection or bladder infection? Only your doc can tell. Ive never heard of this and I work in healthcare. You probably should see a doctor. never had that happen to me...but you better believe if it did, i would be contacting my dr ASAP I have heard of (and dealt with) period related diarrhea. It's normal to have dirrhoea right before your period but bladder incontience, I suggest you talk to your GP. see your doctor you need to be checked out, those are very odd symptoms. |
