I just found out through an HSG that both of my fallopian tubes are completely blocked...?

We have been trying to conceive for 15 months now. Finally, I found a doctor that is trying everything to find the problem. I went in for an HSG today and it revealed that both of my tubes are completely blocked. He kept trying to inject more dye to open them a little, but nothing went through.
He referred me to a very well-known fertility specialist in my area. I looked on his website, and it explains that the tubes can be unblocked through Laparoscopy, but that can cause permanent damage to the tubes. But, their are cases of successful pregnancies after having this done. Another option is In-vitro fertilization, but that is very expensive and not covered by insurance.
My question is, should I have the Laparoscopy done and try and have them unblocked?

What do you have to lose by having the laparoscopy done? Either you have it done and run the risk of damaging the fallopian tubes, or you don't have it done and you still can't conceive because of plugged tubes. Either way you run a risk. But wouldn't it be better to try? At least then you won't regret never finding out. Best case scenario you have the tubes unplugged and you become pregnant. Good luck.

Better you have in vitro fertilization after consulting the doctor in detail.

you may as well, they arent going to get any better on their own.
