Cycling and impotence? Myth or reality?

I cycle 5 to 6 day's a week. Would like to know about impotence and cycling. So far it hasn't been an issue. Should I be concerned?

It is a reality, but there are things you can do to prevent it. First of all, this usually becomes an issue with only avid bikers, which it sounds like you are.

The best prevention found so far is concerning the seat. The smaller the seat, the higher the impotency chance becomes. The wider the seat, the better.

The reason is because the smaller seat forces more compression on the scrotum and perineum, restricting blood vessels from flowing freely - and in the chain of events, after enough time this is what causes impotency. A wider seat will allow your 'jewels' to rest more comfortably and more laid out, allowing for unrestricted blood flow.

Nope. They're completely unrelated. Now off to the bedroom with you and your hot glutes!

if men who [bi]cycle got impotent,
you and me would never have visited
this planet.

Its the kinda seat you use.
Some seats are very narrow. They press against your perrineal area(the area between your testicles and anus). Prolonged pressing against the narrow seat may cause improper blood flow to your penis and scortum. And in long term it might cause erection problems.

Get a kind of broader seat which can support your weight on your buttocks and not your perinneal area.
