Is smoking related to male impotence?

My husband smokes 3 packs a day, he's 32 and now impotent. His internist, endocrinologist, urologist, and cardiologist all say they find no other health problems whatsoever, so it's possibly the smoking. I'm 26 and don't want to become a nun. I feel guilty because I took a vow to love him through sickness and health, and I can't imagine being a celebate for the rest of my life. Can someone advise on any scientific evidence of a connection to smoking and male impotence?

Of course smoking will bring problems...And 3 packs are too many!!

that's related to the topic you're asking

Yes

Yes, nicotine increases blood pressure and restricts the flow to the outer areas, e.g. gentials. So less blood flow, no erection. Simple, stop smoking, eat better, get some exercise. Don't worry about being a nun, if he doesn't shape up soon, you'll be a widow and can get remarried. Oh, and buy him some life insurance, that way you'll have some cash when he's gone. No joking, get him to live a healthier life.

yes it is related, smoking interferes with blood circulation, it reduces blood stream so it is difficult to have an erection which requires a strong blood stream through the penis. Smoking can also damage the quality of sperm.
Alcohol has the same effect too, if he smokes so much and drinks i would be almost sure this is the case, and in some cases the combination of two may leave permanent damages, discuss this with your doctor and seriously think about getting help to quit smoking, sex is the perhaps the last thing he should worry about with 3 packets a day!
take care
