Is diabetic impotence irreversible?

A lot depends on the person, but it can be reversed or as least overcome.

You have to speak with your doctor or a sympathetic doctor.

Try becoming a vegetarian. In some people, a vegetarian diet can greatly improve their condition and even eliminate the need for insulin shots. It should also improve the impotency problem because a vegetarian diet is much lower in cholesterol (which clogs arteries and slows the blood flow needed for an erection). It will take time, though...it's not going to work overnight. Good luck!

It all depends on the extent of the damage.

Diabetic impotence comes from either
a.)poor circulation.
Sometimes the poor circulation is temporary and once the disease is managed, function returns.
b.) medication
Many medications have the side affect of decreased sex drive, check the meds and see if it is.

In some cases circulation damage is permanent,
although there are medications that can help.
