Is impotence curable?

Is impotence curable?

Sure!
Impotence is the failure to get or keep an erection. It was once thought that impotence was ONLY caused by psychological factors, such as performance anxiety or depression. Most cases of impotence are actually caused by physical illness, with only one in ten cases caused by psychological problems. There are many diseases that prevent proper sexual functioning of the penis, by affecting either blood flow or nerves. Some of these diseases include heart disease, multiple sclerosis and diabetes. Cigarette smoking, alcoholism and some prescription drugs can also cause impotence. Major surgery for prostate or bowel cancer also causes impotence.
Treatments are varied.
There are a number of different treatments for impotence. It is usual to start with the least invasive treatment, such as tablets, and to recommend more complicated injection treatments or surgery if the tablets fail.
Health fraud sells false hope. Whether fraud is packaged as exotic pills and potions, phony cures or "miracle" remedies, it thrives on wishful thinking, naivete, or desperation. Fraud wastes a consumer's money, and in some cases, valuable time, especially when it causes a consumer to postpone proper treatment for a medical problem.
Therefore, don't be too embarrassed to see your physician before you begin any treatment regimen.

It may be in some cases. You need to have your MD evaluate the problem to determine if it is physicological or physical. Your age and health factors can be a problem. Some drugs ie, Viagra, Cilias, Levetra do help many when the problem is due to vascular constriction. See your physician.
