Does Prozac cause impotence even after discontinue for years? Any known permanent effect to the nerve system?

worrying... It seems I start getting erection problem since taking prozac at my mid 20s, I'm on and off prozac for 3 years and have completely stop using it one and half years ago. Now at 31 that I stop taking prozac I still have great difficulty getting and maintaining an erection. Could this be the effect from taking prozac? Is there anyway to reverse it or for me to get better?

The person who answered this above me has no idea what they are talking about. Prozac does not affect the nervous system; it affects the neurotransmitter in the brain known as serotonin. I will not stay in your system for ever; your erectile dysfunction is caused by something else. Make an appointment with your doctor for a physical and then let the doctor treat your ED. There is help for it.
