Young Man With Possible Impotence, Please Help!!!?

So, here is the problem. I find that when I'm with a new sexual partner for the first time, I often can't get it up,or if I do, it won't remain hard enough for sex after I go get a condom. (It goes to soft to put the condom on between the time it takes for me to get and open the condom, and when I'm about to put it on.)

But, I have no trouble having and holding on to an erection when I'm alone, or having phone or cyber sex. Also with a number of partners, it will remain hard after the first, or second time.

Now, I'm a young man, so this is very troubling. (Though I suppose it would be troubling either way, really). I'm also a recovering rape victim, who spend a long time using my sexuality 'in order to make people like me', with also a history of anorexia. Even with my eating disorder behind me, I still find that I don't get 3 meals every day. There is also a slight chance of anemia in my family.

I have many theories, but no really clues how to fix the problem, and make it go away.

First off, I'm glad your recovering and over your eating disorder (for the most part)

Second off, I would like you to know that eating disorders (both over, and undereating) have been linked in a few surveys to E.D, I'm not sure if that's exactly what you have, but it's very similar to how women stop having their period if they go long enough without eating.

Please, try to get in those 3 meals a day, it MAY help you get back to normal without having to worry about medicines.

Also, I'm not going to name any specific products, but it rhymes with Niagra (lol) is for people like you, I imagine you don't like the idea of using it, but it's really what you want more - would you like to preform, or be all natural.

Just a side note - if you are able to "get it up" and go for a condom, have your partner put it on for you, while you uh... distract your self with her ;) It's little degrading, but you can use it as a so to speak "kinky" way to do it, like "hey baby, why don't YOU put it on me?".

I hope any of this information is useful to you, and I wish you the best on all of your roads.

If you can get hard on your own and wake up with morning wood, then your problems are probably not physical. More likely you are dealing with some anxiety in new situations. Given your history, this isn't so surprising. I'd work on that aspect of things. Getting some counseling could help. Or maybe not being so quick off the mark with new partners - letting yourself feel "safe" first or maybe even filling them in that you sometimes have some performance issues when its the first time. Good luck.

At least your not ingoring and youre iquipmenat works. Get counseling.......youre doing pretty good on your own to be honest. Oh...just remember.....practice makes perfect.
good luck

It's not physical in nature if you have no trouble with one when you're alone. Being raped is a big deal and could probably be a significant part of this, if not all of it. You may want to see a counselor because he/she can suggest ways to relax. In the meantime, don't jump into bed on the first date, and then when you do, try to be calm and enjoy some good foreplay. That usually gets a man up.

The Doc can prescribe something to help, a vacuum device or testosterone if your level is low.
When I grocery shop I simply choose food labels that are high protein, low fat & low calories. Toss in fruits & veggies.
Protein is fuel for your body. Like gas is for a car.
Ya dont have to be a nutritionist to buy griceries.
