Young Man With Possible Impotence, Please Help!!!? |
So, here is the problem. I find that when I'm with a new sexual partner for the first time, I often can't get it up,or if I do, it won't remain hard enough for sex after I go get a condom. (It goes to soft to put the condom on between the time it takes for me to get and open the condom, and when I'm about to put it on.) First off, I'm glad your recovering and over your eating disorder (for the most part) If you can get hard on your own and wake up with morning wood, then your problems are probably not physical. More likely you are dealing with some anxiety in new situations. Given your history, this isn't so surprising. I'd work on that aspect of things. Getting some counseling could help. Or maybe not being so quick off the mark with new partners - letting yourself feel "safe" first or maybe even filling them in that you sometimes have some performance issues when its the first time. Good luck. At least your not ingoring and youre iquipmenat works. Get counseling.......youre doing pretty good on your own to be honest. Oh...just remember.....practice makes perfect. It's not physical in nature if you have no trouble with one when you're alone. Being raped is a big deal and could probably be a significant part of this, if not all of it. You may want to see a counselor because he/she can suggest ways to relax. In the meantime, don't jump into bed on the first date, and then when you do, try to be calm and enjoy some good foreplay. That usually gets a man up. The Doc can prescribe something to help, a vacuum device or testosterone if your level is low. |
