Truck Driving HealthRegulations Indiana Department of Transportation w/ Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator |
I have had my CDL and have driven a semi for 18 years. I recently had to have an Implantalbe Carioverter Defibrillator put in. Can I still drive and maintain my Class A CDL license? I know this is not a definite answer for you but... I tried researching your question, by going to your Department of Motor Vehicles website and I couldn't find an answer......Sorry. Anyway, my suggestion would be to call the local office and ask them. I don't know for certain, but I can't possibly think of a reason why they would. There shouldn't be any reason unless there is a very powerful magnet or similar device in the cab that could interfer. |
