Anyone have or hear of?

Brugada syndrome? I don't mean to be rude either but I don't need anymore links, just wondering if anyone here has heard of it or been diagnosed with it as I recently have. I was diagnosed by having an electrophysiology study done and treated with an implantable cardioverter defibrillator. If anyone has any useful info that would be great. Thanks!

Brugada syndrome is an electrical problem with your heart, it is classified as a familial defect in which the QT interval is prolonged abnormally, this gene can be passed on to your children. After a normal heart beat, the ventricular cells repolarize uniformly during the T wave, however in Long QT Syndrome, the some cells repolarize before others, and when these cells are repolarized, they can be activated to contract with an electrical signal, while the recovering ones can't. When the QT interval is prolonged, there is a higher chance of an ectopic beat triggering some active myocytes (cardiac cells) in the ventricles, whilst the others are still recovering from the previous signal, this causes a variation in cardiac activity known as Ventricular Fibrillation - a lethal heart rhythm that is characterized by the ventricles quivering instead of beating. Things that can trigger this rhythm include: strenuous exercise or a sudden shock such as a sudden loud noise (or any activity that causes a sudden rush of adrenaline throughout your body). The ICD you have implanted in you will protect you now from Ventricular Fibrillation or Ventricular tachycardia (most commonly Torsades de Pointes in LQTS) either by: fast pacing, then cardioversion, and if both fail, defibrillation.
