Impetigo - tips on getting rid of? |
Just got diagnosed with impetigo today and got some antibiotics (4 a day) and fusidic acid (twice a day) to use. It's starting to annoy me though any clue how long it takes to go? I start college on the 21st and don't want to go like this :| Any tips on getting it to go faster? Once you start treating it impetego clears up pretty quickly. It should be gone by the time you leave for school. My son had a small patch recently and it was 90% gone after 7 days of treatment. Take the antibiotics....also there is a certain wash called phisoderm that you can use to wash your body. It should not take more that 3-4 days to start clearing up. You should be fine on the 21st. |
