Impetigo, after the crust falls off how long does it take for the red mark to go away ,and will it scar me? |
After a bad sun burn,the doc. said i had impetigo.The crust fell off leaving a red mark under my noise and on my cheek.i'm really upset about it and i was wondering if anyone else is out there ,that has had the same problem.If so do you know how long the red mark will last,and if it will scar me? please help!!!........Thankyou! Sun burn can't give you impetigo. It is a strain of the virus that causes strep throat. My mom has had impetigo a few times and she doesn't have any scars. My brother had it really bad when he was a kid and he doesn't have any scars either. I think you should just keep applying proper medication and it will go. |
