Impetigo in nose and ear? |
I was diagnosed with Impetigo in my left nostril and left ear on the 22nd of this month. I was given Mupirocin Ointment. I have been using it regularly and it has seemed to get a little smaller in size but still has not gone away. Is this normal? yes, it will take awhile, as long as your noticing improvement I wouldn't worry about it. Make sure to keep the area clean, and keep your hands off it! use a q-tip to apply the ointment. Impetigo can spread big time, so please do not mess with it! |
