HEY! i was wondering, how do you get rid of impetigo really quick? its gross & i have school photos in a week! |
hey! i have impetigo (aka school sores) on my lips and its BIG and DISGUSTING! it looks gross and i am so embarrassed by them!! usually i have really clear skin with NO impetigo or anything but about a week ago it all started! at first i thought it was a coldsore but the coldsore cream wasnt working so i went to the docczz and he sed it was impetigo! im like WTF? and when he told me that it was gonna get bigger im like NOOOOO... anyway, he gave me these antibiotics which would make the gross yellow stuff on it go away and make it non infectious.. it has..(kinda..), BUT i still have it now, AND i have school photos next week! i need to get rid of this impetigo or make it look like its NOT there but puting makeup on it, so im told, makes it worse! This is, highly, contagious - didn't your doctor tell you to stay home from school until you've finished your course of antibiotics? I thought the, usual, treatment was an ointment. iits GONE!!!! Suggestion - go to the school nurse with a headache during your time slot for photos. It takes time for impetigo to go away. Forget about makeup as it won't cover it sufficiently. And then get ready for photo-makeup day. You can use a concealer, but i don't know if it will really help, i doubt it. Nothing is going to hide that, . But they can alter pictures now, and they can take off the sore places in the pictures, so don't worry about it.... Hope this helps you. |
