Can u get impetigo as an adult? I have cold sores but his is the first time i have this between my nose n lip |
i have been getting cold sores since i was 3 years old but i have never gotten them between my nose and upper lip. anyone can get impetigo- get some tea tree oil- put 8-10 drops in a quart of water and apply to affected area 3 times a day, also take a combination echinacea/ goldenseal supplement. ANYONE can get impetigo Yes you can get it as an adult. It may just be a cold sore,as you are prone to them, but get it checked by your GP, as impetigo is very contagious and can spread. Yep, sure can. The way to tell if it is Impetigo is the color of the scabs (yech!). Impetigo has definitely honey-colored scabs whereas a cold sore (a herpes virus, by the way) will have dark colored scabs. My daughter gets a lot of cold sores and finds immediate relief and rapid healing using carmex, available everywhere. Good luck and God bless. yes you can |
