Cerebrospinal meningitis preventive immunization - how do I go about implementation?

Now there are three serogroups - A, C, W135 of N. meningitidis which is prevelent in ss africa. what are the problems to be faced in terms of vaccines?, What age groups should be targeted in the mass immunization campaign?, what are the other things required so as to be able to carry out a successful mass immunization campaign

Oh wow. The medicine used is very powerful, and toxic, especially in young children. It MUST be figured CORRECTLY in Milligrams per Kilogram of body weight.

Anyone under about 13 is definitely at risk, but it can strike adults, too.

I ran an immunization campaign for spinal meningitis once and the greatest worry that I had was the nurses figuring the dosage incorrectly... otherwise, it's just like any other immunization campaign. Obviously, the younger the children, the greater the chance for a mistake.
