At what age should newborns start their immunization?

Newborn to 2 months....Hepatitis B #1

2 months....DTaP #1, IPV #1, Hib #1, PCV#1, &
Hepatitis B #2 (1 month after Hep. B #1)

4 months....DTaP #2, IPV #2, Hib #2, & PCV #2

6 months....DTaP #3, Hib #3, & PCV #3

6-18 months....IPV #3 & Hepatitis B #3 (2 months after
Hep. B #2)

12-15 months....MMR #1, Hib #4, & PCV #4

12-18 months....Var

15-18 months....DTaP #4

4-6 years....DTaP #5, IPV #4, & MMR #2

They shouldn't start their own immunizations; their parents should do it for them.

When they are at least a month and a half old.

Your child's Dr. normally determine's this. Normally it's at 2 months on their 1st well check.

Ask your pediatrician or go to a clinic. I believe its three months though.

Usually the health nurse does these kind of things and they would know. Give them a call, your nearest health unit is probably in the blue pages.

Also, consider the fact that vaccines (they do NOT immunize) are not 100% safe or 100% effective. If you feel you must vaccinate your child, research first and delay them as long as possible.
