Could someone please help me find my immunization records?

I NEED MY IMMUNIZATION RECORDS TO GET INTO COLLEGE.I NEED TO KNOW WHEN AND WHERE I WOULD OF HAD MY LAST SHOTS.I LIVE IN B.C. AND I THINK THE LAST TIME I GOT MY SHOTS I WAS BACK IN MONTREAL.I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO FIND OUT WHERE MY RECORDS WOULD BE.IF SOMEONE MIGHT HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS,I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE THE FEEDBACK.THANK-YOU.

HOLY CRAP! I'm having the same problem! let me know what you find out.

Ok first there is no need for the CAPS!

Second you should be able to find that out at Montreal where you got them at. Ask your dr.

Your records should be with the last doctor you visited. Depending on your age, they will also be in your previous school records. Your parents may know where you should start first.

There is no central repository of vaccination records. The only records that exist are the ones you or your parents were given when the vaccines were administered, and the ones in the medical record of the doctor or clinic where the vaccines were given. Sometimes schools hold the vaccination records of children who attended, but these records are usually not kept for more than a year or two.

If you cannot locate your personal record or the record from your doctor, it may be necessary to repeat some of the vaccines or arrange blood tests to determine your immunity.

to read more, click on the link below (very useful stuff, but lengthy)

if you remember your old doc's address or the doc's name look it up on yellow pages.com or something and give them a call to send it over to the school or to you.

just call up the last physician that you had, they should be able to help you

.

JUST GO TO YOUR CURRENT DOCTOR AND GET A BLOOD SCREENING WHICH WILL TELL YOU WHAT IMMUNIZATIONS YOU HAVE/HAVEN'T HAD. COLLEGES ACCEPT THE RESULT FROM THE SCREENING JUST LIKE IT WAS AN ACTUAL IMMUNZATION RECORD!

If you know who your pediatrician is, you can start there. You should check with the doctor from Montreal too and ask him if any of that information is in the records that he might still have there. I don't what else to advise. But that is a good place to begin. Good luck!
