Why is immunization required?

For certain career fields and school, why is this?

And why should I pay for them if they are?

Is there a law to get around this, like being a Jehovah's Witness?

immunization is required to protect people from contagious diseases (mumps, measles, etc), especially the most vulnerable people in our society...kids!

so all kids dont get sick...yes theyre required

To protect others from you. It's not all about you.

They are for your benefit so you won't get particular diseases. Yes, they are very important or they wouldn't have them. Get as many of the free ones you find listed in the newspapers & take advantage of them when you can. IF you have ins., that w/cover them as a "preventable" disease. All health professionals have to get them being around sick people. Some work places offer them so their attendance won't suffer due to sickness. Get the ones you need for your age group. They ARE unoirtabt/2
