Cost of allergy testing and immunization? |
About seven years ago while I was still living in Africa I was tested for and immunized against my allergies. I plan on getting immunized again to control my growing asthma but have no idea about how expensive it will be here (in Denton, Texas that is). I truly doubt my insurance will cover the cost so I would like to have an idea before I visit an allergist. Call your insurance company and ask if they cover allergy shots. Also ask if you are financially responsible for a percentage and/or a co-pay. Start with the member service number on the back of your health insurance card (plan to be on hold a while) it is free |
