Did you get an immunization booster shot on your left arm as a kid in the 70s? |
Why did they used to do this? I have a scar and I always wondered. Do you know? it was an air powered shot system that gave seven shots at one time in the shape of a ring - it was polio, d/t, opv,dtp, etc. as it turns out, last year it was reported that the people that had those shots had greater immunity towards something that was in the news (can't remember what it was) Its the BCG vaccination that leaves the scar. It to protect you against TB...; hi. i am deb.yes i had the shots and habe the dime size brown ring on ny upper arm contact if you want to. Both my children had the shots (smallpox) that you refer to. |
