How do you retain an immunization copy if your school doesn't have one?

Your local community health office should have it. Look under City of...... listings.

You get an immunization record from the doctor who was your pediatrician or the family doctor who gave you all your shots when you were growing up.

your doctor or health dept. should have a copy.

Try contacting previous doctors to get a copy. Even as far back as a pediatrician.

Go to your doctor or clinic that did the shots. They have records for you.

if you know of the health clinic that administered your immunizations, they could possibly still have them on record (although records are destroyed after a certain number of years). It may be hard to track down a complete record - I had this problem myself and ended up having to get boosters for several of the immunizations that I couldn't find record of. While this can be expensive - it's not harmful to your health.

You might also try seeing if your parents have a written record, doctors offices usually start a book or record for parents to keep when their child gets immunizations.

sometimes the college are able to do one for you for a fee, if you have no insurance nor doctor .

contact the doctors...may take some phone calls and filling out Hippa forms, but get a copy.

I don't think that they need them all just the mmr you got as an early teen. I entered college last semester.
