What are the best fruits to help boost the immune system?

I have a thyroid disorder, chronic sinus infections, severe allergies, PCOS and am tired of being handed a pill every time I go to the doctor. I want alternative solutions. Thanks!!!!!!

I am not allergic to any foods only dust, grass, animal dander. etc. Thanks!

Any fruits or vegetables will
boost the immune system.
Just make sure they are
organic. These foods will not
heal your thyroid or stop sinus
problems or remove allergies.
you will need to look for other
treatment modalities for those
problems.
If you have low thyroid, you
must get thyroxine. This can
only be found with a drs. Rx.
There is natural, but it does not work as well. thyroxine
is the actual hormone that your body is lacking.
Sinus infections are easily
healed using sea salt lavage.
(Snuffing salt and water up
your nose.) plus Klear nose
spray is the best I've found.
It is not a med. It uses a
sweetner that is so slippery,
virus and bacteria cannot
colonize and are washed out
easily.
Severe allergies can be
overcome simply by staying
away from said allergies. Rid
your home and yard of all
known allergenics.

You need to specify which fruits you are allergic to before anybody can recommend you any fruits. Thanks.

IF you have PCOS, then you are probably insulin resistant. People that are insulin resistant often have problems with yeast overgrowth. Yeast overgrowth is fueled by sugar, the sugar in fruits, sugar in starchy items like rice, potatoes, corn and bread. You would be better off staying away from fruits.

However, brightly colored fruits have the most antioxidants, cherries, melons, berries. The brighter the food, the more nutrients it has.

Diet - Women with PCOS respond well to a low glycemic index, low simple carbohydrate, low animal product, high fiber diet which helps reduce weight, regulate blood sugar and insulin levels, and reduce inflammatory prostaglandins.

Dietary changes, including reducing animal products and fats, while increasing foods that nourish the liver such as carrots, dark green vegetables, lemons, and beets, can be beneficial. One serving fuit such as: apple, pear or berries are good options for people with PCO. Limit processed foods like white bread, white rice, cakes, cookies, donuts and candy.

Bentonite Clay - You would use this to bathe in. It has a drawing agent that acts like a sponge. It literally pulls toxins out through the skin. This would also help to balance your hormones, while also pulling any other toxins out of the way.

Supplementation -
Vitamins A, E, and C
Essential fatty acids: fish oil or flaxseed oil
Fiber supplement
A good quality multi vitamin/mineral

Besides food and alternate medicine, do Yoga. Breathing exercises in Yoga relieves a lot of what you write.

Berries, especially blueberries are excellent! Citrus fruits are very high in vitamin C.
