Does bulimia affect the immune system?

Does bulimia affect the immune system and how cuts/bites/etc heal? And how long does someone have to be bulimic for that it to start (if it does at all)? I'm a recovery bulimic... and my eating disorder was pretty bad in the last 3 months, and it seems that bug bites and such are taking forever to heal. And it worrying me..

The majority of your immune system is actually in your digestive track. Bulimia, obivously, is an eating disorder and that involves your digestive track. I would suggest boosting your immune system by taking things like echinacea and maybe trying to eat some Dan Active yogurt. Also try taking vitamin C. You should talk to your doctor about it if it is really concerning you.
