Is Intravenous Immunoglobulin (IVIg) effective for treating Ulcerative colitis?

I have become interested in any hypothetical link between Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (or a form of it), Ulcerative Colitis and other related areas. Specifically the immune system, and components like IgA.

Hi,

I had severe UC. I was treated with the surgery for it though. After the UC, years later, I had chronic hives, which are autoimmune. My mother has OCD (she's taking medication to treat it) and I think I have it mildy.

Sorry I don't know much about IVIg or IgA, but sounds like you do and your research could be helpful one day. UC is really delibitating.

Try some natural herbal teas for treating these symptons. Get you a good resource on natural healing like back to eden.
