I have an Ileostomy and I live in a warm area. The stickiness of the bag irritates me. Anyone have any ideas?

i live in a hot, humid climate. ugh. is your bagging system fabric lined on the back? look into it. this should help tremendously, only thing is you have to dry really well after showering or you'll get a heat rash. another thing i've heard is taking the small pantyliners and putting them on the back of the bag. this would be the same as having a fabric liner.

Gold bond powder on the skin or oil the bag with olive oil a little between the skin and the bag

Make yourself a small light pouch of cotton that you can put the bag it. This way it will keep it away from your body.

use baby powder between you and the bag -- it both smells good and helps any chafing.
