Is Hysterectomy is only option for a women at 35 with fybroid of 2.3 cms. in unterior uterus? |
This women had urinary infection. Treated by a Gynic. Still uncomfortable she performed DNC(2yrs ago) The products of DNC gave no abnormalities on testing with a hystopath. She travelled. After 5 days, she had menstural pain with no actual mensturation. After 15 days she had mensturation with did not stop for 15 days. On Virginal sonography the gynic (who was not a family gynic of the patient) spotted a small cyst of 2+ cm. in one overy and 2.3 cms. fybroid in the UNTERIOR part of the Uterus. The gynic recommended Hysterectomy as only option. Back home the regular (family) gynic recommended no Hysterectomy and her cycle was brought back to normalcy with hormonal tablets. She opinoned it is normal for a women at the age of 35 (in India) to have a disturbed cycle and harmonal imbalances, and fybroid in the unterior is not the cause for her problems. Now Some say that the presence of fybroid may cause Cancer at a later age. Can anyone explan the possibility of Cancer in this Case Can't really explain cancer, but from personal experience will offer that ovaries are cystic by nature and it seems that heavy bleeding and irregular cycles are normal for women over a certain age. A possible alternative to hysterectomy ( to control bleeding ) might be a procedure where the lining of the uterus is cauterized - the name escapes me - dermablasion, perhaps? At least it's worth looking into. i think the word astra B was refering to may be"ablation" instead of medermablasion Report It not at all i heard there is a treatment in Homeo pathy... This is a serious medical question, so be smart and go to a doctor...the Internet can't always be trusted. Hope everything works out. Fibroids RARELY turn cancerious however this sounds complex. Continue consulting doctors but don't rush into anything. OK r u ready for this my ex-mother in law had not been to the doctor in 37 years. Two weeks ago they cut out a 28 cm, 18 lbs fibroid. She is fine with no cancer at all. We can only thank god there was nothing. Please be safe and do what the doctors say but if u r not done having kids there r alot of different options, that i read about while she was in the hospital. |
